"Wow! Nanami, you've made a lot of friends now, haven't you?" Nanami paused in applying her makeup, blinking down at Wormmon, who sat in her lap. She gave a small smile.

"I suppose you could call it that," She said simply before returning to her business. She then closed her compact mirror and gave Wormmon a pat on the head.

"Are you going to go visit Kouki and Ivan now?" The small digimon asked innocently. Nanami nodded, gathering Wormmon into her arms and heading for the door.

"They may not know it, but I enjoy spending time with my old friends a lot more at times."

--Interpretation Was Difficult!--

Ruki narrowed her eyes as she flipped through the journal entries for the past week. Ruki wasn't a social type. She normally didn't check the journals but once every couple of days, and as it stood now, she hardly communicated with her friends. Renamon watched her tamer. She watched how Ruki scowled as she went through the entries. This was ... quite the routine.

"Ruki, if it bothers you that much--"

"I really should get into the habit of checking this more often."

Ahh. So that was it. She was internally scolding herself for not checking earlier. Renamon chuckled.

"It seems to bother you."

"Yeah, well ... it's not like life eats rainbows and poops butterflies," she muttered bitterly.

Ruki crossed her arms over her chest, watching as Takato talked, laughed along with one of the girls working at the bakery ... Ruki didn't remember her name.

She would never outwardly admit it, but she was jealous of Takato's outgoing personality, and his ability to easily get along with everyone he met.
